KL (19th March 2012 - 24th March 2012)

2nd stop - KL

Reach KL safely and sound, Karen (my cousin) pick me up from the airport. After dropped luggages to her home, we then heading to the kopitiam near Petaling Jaya. There I ordered char kweh tiau and ice kachang as the dessert. After eating, we then heading to the pirated DVD store. While we were looking for DVDs, suddenly we heard someone shouting for help. It was a bag snatching accident. From that incident, I decided to cancel the room that I booked at Citin Masjid Jamek hotel and stayed at Karen's house instead.

the second day I was in KL, I have to stayed home and waited for Karen because it was hard to travel in KL if you don't drive. We then went to the night market which are the same spot as yesterday kopitiam. I ate a lot of junk food there, from fried chicken, muachee, frid durian, fried cempedak, and sweet martabak.

On the third day, initally I was going to pick up Kevin by myself, but then Uncle Jim insist to drive me to the airport and we picked up Kevin. From there, Uncle Jim brought us to eat Bak Kut Teh and drop us at KLCC tower. We roam around until about 7pm and decided to go back.

On the forth day, me and Kevin went to Batu Cave by ourselves. We arrived there and spent an hour to explore the Batu Cave. We then went back home, took a shower and heading to bigger night market. There we also eat a lot of junk food and bought a lot of stuff. We also went to eat the longest Roti Tissue that I ever see.

On fifth day, we heading to Ginting Highland by bus and where we found out that I booked the room on the wrong date. Dissapointed, we still decided to play until late. When we reached KL, we went to Sunway Laggon, Piramid shopping centre.

Finally, last day, Uncle Jim drop us to the airport and we leaving KL. Big Thanks to Uncle Jim, Karen and Karen's Mom for the hospitality.

Merlion (14th Feb - 19th Feb)

First stop : Singapore

All Praise and Glory for His Name, for giving me an opportunity to enjoy my holiday. It was a pleasant journey from Sydney to Singapore because no one sat beside me, YEAY!!
It was my first experience flying with Singapore Airlines and their service really satisfied me. From their movie list, food and even the steward (most of them are "Leng Zhai" = Handsome Guy).
Arrived safely at Changi Airport, Singapore welcome me with warm weather, which i already took precautions off.

Audrey's mom pick me up and when I arrived at their home, I took rest before heading out to Orchard Rd by myself to see Audrey after work. As a tourist, I gave Singapore public transport thumbs up. I don't have to wait for so long for the MRT to come. When you look inside the MRT, you'll be surprised of how clean the carriages is.

So, when me and Audrey waited for the MRT, suddenly I felt thirsty and decided to drink. I opened the bottle of water and drank, but i suddenly stop because Audrey told me this "you can't drink here" and She explained to me that it is a rule in Singapore that we are not allowed to drink and eat inside the MRT and the MRT station.

I am lucky enough to have Audrey as local Singaporean, because she brought me to so many good places to eat, Chomp Chomp at Serangoon, Makan Sutra near Esplanade, and Chicken Rice at Novena.

Exploring Marina Bay Sands, Esplanade, Chinese and Japanede Garden, and Qian Hu Fish Spa (where i spent SGD $10 and didn't let the fist to eat my dead skin, LOL)

Meet my old High School friend, Martin (who suddenly become so skinny and handsome) LOL. Had some fun at Night Safari (well, not really, after they force me to go inside the bat cage, Urghhhhh!!)

So much fun at Sentosa and Universal studio (minus the Mummy and rain). Fun fact, there are actually 5 Merlion Statues in Singapore. I asked Audrey, "Why there are so many Merlion Statues?" and guess what she said, "Well, if there are 5 Merlion statues, then tourists don't have to over crowded in one Merlion"

Big Thanks to Audrey, Audrey's Mom, and Trevor for the hospitality and effort to make my stay in Singapore so memorable.
